The winter storm blows in and just as we are getting snug as a bug, with our bellies full from dinner, all the ice was just too much to handle. - SNAP CRACK - Out goes the power, and down goes one of our powerlines to lay down the length of our driveway from the barn to the road ( which is about 1/8 of a mile :) making it impassable - unless you have 4WD and can venture into the field with 5 inches of snow and ice. We all decide to take this opportunity to go play in the snow and build a snowman...
Amazingly - it only took DP&L 1/2 an hour to fix
After - it took them 20 Hours to Show Up! lol
The house roars back to life just in time to fix dinner on Saturday and play catch-up on laundry, dishes, and cleaning which has to be done then - because Sunday is a wrestling meet at Kings High School ( which borders on Kings Island property ) and after that we are going straight to a friend's house to watch the Super Bowl. *whew*
Curtis did fantastic at his wrestling meet and got 2nd place! Carmen and her "bestfriendinthewholeworld" Eva showed off their dance skills during halftime.
